Each year , the Leadership Lackawanna Core class is divided into groups with each group working as a team to complete a project in support of a non-profit organization in Lackawanna County . The 2020 – 2021 Core projects included including The Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA , Keystone Mission , The North Pocono Library , and NeighborWorks of Northeastern Pennsylvania – totaling a $ 28,000 financial impact in the community .
