The Chamber ’ s Government Affairs committee works closely with local , regional , state and federal officials to offer support and advocate on behalf of its members . The Chamber puts the needs of the business community at the forefront of its advocacy efforts by helping to ensure a positive governmental climate for business growth and development . Even through the pandemic , we continue to meet virtually with government officials .
Local and State Government Officials
The Chamber hosted virtual and in-person meetings with a variety of local government officials , including Senator Casey , Senator Toomey , Senator Blake , Congressman Cartwright , as well as all our local state representatives and Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti .
