Small Business Financing
MetroAction is a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution ( CDFI ) dedicated to providing small business loans and business development assistance throughout northeastern Pennsylvania .
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic , MetroAction has taken an active role in assisting hundreds of local businesses in applying for and securing financial assistance . It served as an administrator for the Commonwealth of PA and Lackawanna County COVID-19 State Grant programs .

Last year , MetroAction closed 25 loans totaling $ 1.4 million and helped create / retain 223 jobs in our region .
