Through its partnerships and connections with students , school districts , higher education , and the business community , Skills in Scranton works to develop strategies that address economic and workforce opportunities . Across its workforce development initiatives , the Chamber ensures that northeastern Pennsylvania ’ s workforce meets the current and future needs of the region ’ s existing and targeted industries .
County of Lackawanna Transit Center ( COLTS )
In collaboration with COLTS , Lackawanna County , and NEPA Moves , the Chamber supported the addition of a new bus route serving the Mid Valley Industrial Park , Valley View Business Park , Jessup Small Business Center , and Rock Creek Corporate Center .
