A DOG-GONE PET
PUPPIES
Now that you know about care, behavior, and
food, it’s time to learn about puppies! Dogs
have babies too. If you have a small dog, you
will have less puppies. If you have a large dog
you will have lots more puppies. Normally one
litter is about two to twelve puppies. Now
you know that dogs can have puppies.
As you can see, dogs are very interesting
creatures. They are sweet like ice-cream on a
hot summer day. Dogs are like us, except they
can’t talk and have four legs. Dogs are amazing
and they have earned their place in many
people's hearts. Dogs are also very picky
e a t e r s . T h e y h av e m a n y i n t e r e s t i n g
characteristics too. Puppies are also great.
Now would you want a dog?
Puppies and dogs can be adopted. The best
time to adopt a puppy is generally when the
puppy is six to eight weeks old. Then they will
be easier to train. If you do not know this,
something that makes you more productive
( that means getting a lot done fast) is looking
at puppies,( because humans are predisposed
to looking at at “cute” baby animals), a pet
store or in your house! Now when you know
when to adopt puppies!

Giving birth to a dog is a very interesting
thing. Two months after mating, the mother
will give birth to the litter. All puppies are
blind and deaf when they are born. Some
puppies are born green, but Dalmatian
puppies are born spotless. For some breeds,
their puppies can have identical twins. Puppies
will normally open their eyes 10-15 days after
they are born. Now you know that puppy
births are interesting.
