I learned about Spider Monkeys in National
Geographic. They are the most threatened
monkeys in South America. Let me tell you
what they look like. They are small. They have
gray and brown, or tan and black coats. They
have long strong tails that are like another
hand.

Spider Monkeys like to eat. They eat fruits,
seeds, leaves, and flowers. They eat also
insects, bird eggs, and spiders. Now you know
what spider monkeys eat.
BEHAVIOR
They gather in groups of two up to three
dozen. They have long strong tails that is like
another hand. Their grip is very strong so they
can hold on tree branches. They like to hang
upside down.
HABITAT
Spider Monkeys live in tropical climates, the
forests of Central and South America. They
make their homes high in the trees. These are
the countries where spider monkeys live.
