SLIME TIME! Types of Slime There are many types of slime, they’re all different, but they’re still slime. Some slimes take a while until you can play with it. Iceberg slime is a type of slime that is hard on the top after left out for a few days. It uses a lot of shaving cream/foam (2 cups) to make it harden. Did you know that you can make soap slime using only a bar of soap and water? You start off by taking a bar of soap and placing it in a jar. Then, cover the soap with water. Lastly, let the soap sit for a day or two and you’ve got slime. Fruit salad slime is clear slime with little fruit slice beads in it. To make your slime clear, let it sit for a day or two. Candle slime is a type of slime that is made out of just a candle, glue, and activator (borax & water, saline solution & baking soda, or laundry detergent.) First, you melt the candle, after it’s all melted, add glue to the melted candle. If it’s still too sticky, activate it a little and it should be fine.
