Percy stayed in Ogygia( a place where you only end up once) for 2 week making his friends think he was dead because he was blasted by a volcano before he got there. When Percy was granted the wish to be a god he thought of leaving his friends.

Plus, there are small personal demigod discretions too. Rachel( the mortal) kissed Percy and Percy told a demigod witness not to tell Annabeth( this happened before they dated and had a small relationship). Depending on you this is a discretion, Percy let Bianca( daughter of Hades) sacrifice herself. This also is opinion Percy gave Luke( the traitor) the sword to stop Kronos not knowing it would save them. One more opinion, Percy asked Annabeth for a kiss a little bit before they started dating.
wasn’ t on purpose Percy used his water powers to push Nancy Bobofit( a mortal) in a fountain. Percy set a guest for himself at his second year of a camp. Percy promised Calypso( a girl trapped on Ogygia by the Gods) he would the Gods let her go but he didn’ t.
After all these things Percy became very noble. I know all the Gods know this deep down no matter how much they hate / love it. Even though he has done dumb things he has learned from them. This made Percy an honorable hero.
