It’ s Always Fun and Games
is a whole camp activity. Next is cabin activities at 9:00pm. Finally, at 10:00pm is lights out. AGQ has a good morning and afternoon.
Meals at AGQ are really good. Breakfast is at 8:30am. Lunch is at 12:45pm. Dinner is at 5:30pm. There is a dining room where you eat meals as a cabin. Most people like the food. The food in the dining room is good.
Sometimes campers get free time at AGQ. There is free swim at 12:00pm. During free swim campers can swim or kind of do whatever they want. Rest hour is at 1:30pm. At rest hour you can do whatever you want in your cabin quitely. Free time is at 6:15pm. At free time is when you can do whatever you want like go to the camp store, play gaga ball, and other activities. There is a nice amount of free time at AGQ.
The Cabins
Living in AGQ is fun, but campers can get a little squished. The cabins are a little small, but nice inside. In the morning when campers clean there cabins they get graded out of 100 based on how clean there cabins are. Campers get 1 bunk each session. Under campers bunks is where you store your stuff. There isn’ t a bathroom in the cabins, so you have to walk through the woods to get to the bathroom. Campers at AGQ basically live together for the session. Camp AGQ cabins are nice for some people.
Only a small amount of people are in 1 cabin. Normally( except for the new cabins), a cabin has 7-9 campers in there cabin. Each cabin has 1-3 counselors. There is around 10 bunks in each cabin. The cabins are small, but they are building new cabins.
The people in charge of cabins are building awesome new north cabins( Girl Cabins). The new north cabins are being built for the 2018 summer. They are building 13 new cabins. They each hold 12 people. They have outdoor showers. The south cabins( Boy Cabins) were being built between 2008 and 2012. There is a lot of cabins at AGQ.
So, remember AGQ is a great camp to attend. Lots of people love AGQ.“ AGQ has always been my favorite place on earth. It’ s the place I found my best friends and the people I consider to be my family,” said camp director Katie Milne. In conclusion, lots of people / campers consider AGQ their second home.
