An Amazing Pet: Hamsters
pulse, etc. Use a metal bowl or pots to give foods
to a hamster.
To add some variety and added nutrition there
are many fresh foods your hamster may like. Try
acorns, apples, bananas, green beans, broccoli,
cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, corn and
zucchini. A good hamster pallet, ample grass hay, a
bit of seed mix, some fresh veggies, and the
occasional treat (such as a piece of “milk bone”)
will keep your hammy well-fed and healthy. Don’t
feed your pet hamster candy.
A hamster will stuff his cheeks with just about
anything, but he needs to eat a balanced diet to
thrive. Hamster food provides the best and
complete nutrition for hamsters.
Here’s how to help you know what to feed your
hamster. Pelleted food: refresh daily ¾ full or 75%
vegetables: dark leafy greens every other day or
15% Fruits: apples, bananas, melons once a week
or 5%.
CARE
Hamsters need a cage with room to play. It must
be clean once a week. Put in wood-shavings, fresh
water and food.
Take your hamster don’t sick for a check-up if it
displays any of these symptoms: wheezing, runny
nose, irregular eating or drinking and overgrown
front teeth.
Hamsters normally keep themselves well-
groomed. If your hamster has long fur, you’ll need
to help the little critter with a soft brush.
Hamster care is not complicated. And there are
no excuses not to take care of your hamster.
They are quite easy to look after and can become
tame with daily handing.
MY CONCLUSION IS HAMSTERS
ARE CUTE AND COOL PETS!
