GREAT GOOSEBUMPS HORROR STORIES
can’t see, and some are very scary! but just to be
safe THERE IS A SON OF SLAPPY! (so you
should know cause one Slappy is bad enough.)
Second DO NOT say “Karru Marri Odonna
Loma Molonu Karrano” because it will make
Slappy come to life, finally third if all the
monsters are after you RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!
Along with the monsters are the rewards let’s see
which monsters are special. You might want to
know why they are special is important, Well
you might just learn a thing, or two about what
monsters you will never see or the best/scariest
monsters. Slappy, and the Werewolf of fever
swamp are the best off all monsters according to
the rotten apple because they are different from
all the rest, all of the Goosebumps books are in
the USA, but the Curse of the Living Tomb is in
Egypt!, and last some of the most wanted,
characters show up in Goosebumps like
Slappy ,the WereWolf a Yeti and other scary
monsters .

Asking Jones
Some books are not as good for a high
schooler compared to a preschooler so we
asked Allison Jones Youth Library Technician
at Ann Arbor District Library she says “ I
think that depends on the individual reader, for
some elementary school readers they might be
too frightening or upsetting but for some they
can be the perfect amount of scary. For some
kids it may be too hard too read… And for
some kids they’ll breeze right through... I
suppose my answer would be if you’re in a
book that is appropriate and for you’re
reading level and age then it’s a great fit for
you…
If you have read all the goosebump books
(and liked them) here are some books Jones
picked out “ I would recommend R.L.Stine’s
HorrorLand, or
Most Wanted series for
starters they are by the same author and very
good.”
I also would recommend The GraveYard
Book or Coraline by Neil Gaiman. ( both have
a similar creepy tone).
The all -time scariest books...are Scary Stories
to Tell in the Dark series by Alvin schwartz,
with the original illustration. ….There is also a
great audiobook made by R.L.Stine called
“Beware”: R.L.Stine Picks His Favorite
Stories” that features lots of different scary
authors. ...
