Habits of the Hobbit
HUMANS
ELVES
In Middle Earth (where the “The Hobbit”
takes place), there are also humans. Lots of the
humans live in Lake-town. There are lots of
guards at Lake-town. There is a big tower in the
middle of Lake-town which, also has a lot of
guards in it. Near the tower are training areas
and the guards are really well trained for fighting
and guarding. Sometimes they accidentally the
people of Lake-town.
Bard (the main human), likes to do all he
can to protect the people in Lake-town. The
people of Lake-town also call him “protector of
the people”. Most people of Lake-town think the
dragon in the Lonely Mountain (Smag) is a legend
or a story tale but then they find out he is not.
The dragon Smag comes to Lake-town and
the master of Lake-town runs away. The master
of Lake-town doesn't like the dwarves. When the
master of Lake-town found out that they were
going to claim the mountain back he he wanted
to get some of the riches in the mountain, so he
started treating them nice and made a deal about
getting the riches.
Elves are another type of organism (living
thing) in Middle Earth. The elves used to be
friends with the dwarves. However the elves are
crossed with the dwarves. Elves are the first
organisms in Inner earth.
In “The Hobbit,” there are two types of
Elves. The two types of Elves are the Green Leaf
Elves which live in these beautiful houses near a
river. The Mirkwood Elves live in this gigantic tree
with lights in it. Legolas likes patrolling the forest
and is fiercely loyal to his father, Thranduil, he the
king of Mirkwood.
Galadriel (Queen of Mirkwood elves) is
known as the “Lady of Light.” Galadriel wears
Nenya one of the three elven rings of power!
Mirkwood elf archers commanded by the queen
have big bows that can fire large showers of
arrows on their enemies. Mirkwood elf archers
are also known for their stealth in forests. The elf
chief was suppose to keep over the imprisoned
dwarfs, but failed at its job.
