Cheetahs like a certain size of prey for certain reasons. Cheetahs like m e d i u m s i z e d p r e y. Medium sized for a cheetah is between 25-56 kilograms. Medium sized prey is good for cheetahs because they don’t get too little of food and they don’t get too much. Cheetahs also like medium sized prey because when they they are killing the prey it has the least risk of injury for the cheetah. The last reason why cheetahs like medium sized prey is because if they caught larger prey the cheetah would not have time to eat all of it before a bigger animal came and forced the cheetah to surrender its kill. Good reasons. Right?   How Cheetahs Get Their Prey And What Their Prey Is One of the things that is really important to a cheetahs life is a cheetahs food or it’s prey. Cheetahs eat many different things. For example cheetahs eat: Blesbok,Thomson’s Gazelles, Grants gazelles, Springboks, impalas, hares, wildebeest, gazelles, calves, thoose, gray duikers, springbrooks, kudus, jackals, ostriches, birds, rabbits, warthogs, and antelopes. For example having to hunt in broad daylight instead of hidden in the shadows of the night because they have no night vision. I think cheetahs are up to the challenge because despite their limitations cheetah’s ANIMALS
