changes direction quickly or
if their prey zig-zags the
cheetah can follow their prey
perfectly so they don't go
hungry. These are all of the
cheetahs adaptations. Which
makes the cheetah is pretty
good a surviving in the wild.

With the cheetahs loose
hip joints, long legs, loose
shoulder joints, and a
flexible spine, the cheetah
can cover as much ground
as 7 meters in only one
stride. You might have
guessed that cheetahs have
light bones, if you did you
are right. Cheetahs bones
only weigh 45-60
kilograms. That is an
adaptation because it helps
them run faster if they
don't have very heavy
bones that would make it
harder to run faster.
Cheetah’s also have a

while sometimes using
their speed to catch their

Some of their limitations
make them lose their prey or
get hunted easier. Some of
cheetah’s limitations even
cause them to loose their
babies. In fact only about 1 in
20 babies survive until they
reach adulthood. Most babies
die because cheetahs are not
able to protect its young by
fighting off larger predators.
So many of cheetah’s babies
get killed.
