completely white. Hans tells the people that
Anna is dead and that she was killed by Elsa.
He says that he and Anna said their marriage
vows already. Then he orders that Elsa be
killed. Elsa sees ice on her shackles and pulls
on them. The door gets frozen shut before the
people can get in. They break through the
door and Elsa’s gone. There’s a big hole in the
wall. Kristoff, who walked away from the
castle, is walking back up the mountain when
Sven gets mad at him and tries to push him
down the mountain. He sees a storm above the
castle and races back. Anna is lying in the
room when Olaf opens the door with his nose.
Olaf tells Anna that Kristoff loves her and
then Olaf sees Kristoff riding down the
mountain like a valiant pungent reindeer king.
Anna and Olaf escape onto the fjord. Anna’s
hands are crystalizing. Kristoff sees her. Hans
tells Elsa that Anna is dead, and Elsa collapses
in sadness. Hans gets ready to kill her. Kristoff
runs toward Anna. Anna sees Hans about to
kill Elsa and blocks Hans’ blow, freezing into
pure, solid ice. Because of Anna’s sacrifice, an
act of true love, she thaws. Elsa then realizes
that love will thaw, and unfreezes Arendelle.

Frozen stayed amazing. It was out in
theatres for at least 3 months. When it came
out on DVD in March, it sold 3.2 million
copies on the first day. “I would rate it 7 out of
10,” says VanLaven, “because it had a good
story, but I found some characters annoying
and some songs overdone.”

the outside. The inside is wonderful too!
Making movies can sometimes be as
interesting as the movie itself. Take a look at

Frozen was inspired by “The Snow Queen”
by Hans Christian Anderson, which is about a
girl named Gerda who’s best friend, Kai, gets
captured by the Snow Queen. “Frozen” was
based on this. The cast of “Frozen” is:
Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa,
Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, Santino Fontana as
Hans, and Josh Gad as Olaf. The music is by
