Their names are Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Hans, Olaf, and Sven. Elsa is the queen of Arendelle, and Anna is her younger sister. Elsa has magic ice powers and is multifaceted, which means to have many aspects or phases’, like how Elsa is smart and polite, dangerous and strong, loving and mischievous, and, most of all, fearful. They are all quite interesting. Anna is the younger princess of Arendelle and represents love. When her older sister, Elsa, accidentally turns summer into winter, Anna goes off to find her. She is fearless, stating, “[Elsa] is my sister. She would never hurt me.” She is also determined and optimistic. Elsa is the older princess and represents fear. When their parents die, she is required to become queen. Elsa is poised and regal, but inside she has a big secret. On her coronation, she accidentally freezes summer. Elsa has the power of ice and snow. Kristoff is an ice harvester. He and his reindeer Sven were raised by trolls. He is a loner and says reindeer are better than people. “My favorite character is Kristoff because he is Art and Entertainment the most realistic,” says fan Joel VanLaven, “...emotionally.” Olaf is a snowman that loves summer. He was built by Elsa and Anna when they were little kids. Elsa later makes him alive. He is innocent, optimistic, and loyal. He also loves warm hugs. Hans is the youngest prince of the Southern Isles, 13th in line for the throne, over shadowed by his 12 older brothers. Anna falls in love with him and the two soon get engaged. Sven is Kristoff ’s reindeer. He is loyal, brave, and smart. He is a good communicator. He has the heart of a labrador. 49
