The Scottish Genealogy Network was founded in Feb 2012 during 'Who Do You Think You Are Live?' exhibition in London. Since then it has gone from strength to strength with regular informal monthly meetings in different areas of Scotland. Repositories from Aberdeen to Dumfries have received visits and more are planned in 2014.

There is no joining fee and no membership criteria other than that members must work professionally within the Scottish genealogical industry, whether as a professional researcher, archivist, librarian, course tutor or an associated discipline.

If you are working professionally within the field of Scottish genealogy, and would be interested in more information, please contact : scotsgenenet @ gmail.com
