Sim card
We highly advise that you buy a local SIM card. The most popular companies are Vodafone, Orange and Telekom.
However, this differs according to the city of your
exchange, as Vodafone is mostly popular in
Bucharest, whereas Orange is mostly popular in the other parts of the country.
You can choose a SIM card of 6 or 10 Euro and these
should be enough to get you through one month. Be sure you activate extraoptions with enough internet.
The salesmen in the stores usualy speak english and can assist you in activating
the best package.
Do not forget to make sure that your phone is neverlocked so that it has never been blocked on one provider, this may cause the local SIM not to work on your phone.
