Volcanoes
Located in the centre of the country, the mud volcanoes are a rare natural phenomenon. The volcano-shaped structures erupt constantly, throwing mud and gases outside. Because of this, it is impossible for vegetation to grow there, thus creating a lunar landscape.
The Black Sea
Although not so
“natural” anymore, the beaches along the Black Sea, with their fine golden sands, are the perfect place for a weekend of relaxation. If you prefer quiet places, you can still find remote beaches, outside the big resorts, with very few people.
On the other hand, if you are a party-lover you should definitely not miss Mamaia or Vama Veche, depending on the type of music and parties you enjoy.
