LIVE LAUGH LOVE
W hat is it like to feel nothing at all? Have you ever felt that pit deep in your
stomach, of terrifying loneliness even when packed with people around you?
You are ecstatic one minute, and the next minute, you are horrified about
some ominous contemplation, that not in the least you want to bethink.
Flooding with all kinds of possible emotions within, you will be at the peak of
anger and frustration and would want to yowl at everything around. How
does that really feel like? Most people don’t usually get it when you tell them,
do they? Sometimes all we’ll need is a pair of trustworthy ears. At that point,
that one person is concrete to us, like a saviour.
What do you think will happen if that saviour isn’t around anymore? Are you
totally lost? Pushed into oblivion? Have you ever considered being
independent? Down the line, in a seat like this, make yourself alone and
comfortable. Close your eyes, talk to yourself. Tell yourself that you’re not
alone. Talk about your feelings to yourself or write it all down. Guess what,
you won’t be needing this saviour this time. Be your saviour. If you can’t be
your own guardian angel, how can you expect someone else to be one? Don’t
hate yourself for your mistakes; welcome them, because they are going to be
your pedagogue. Love yourself in a way that you are not ready to let you
down at any point. I don’t know if life is long or short because it’s just a
perspective. But what I do know is that it’s yours, and that you have to live of
it to the fullest. Happiness lies within you. After all, what are mouths for,
laugh and be happy. I tell this every day to myself. I indeed wish I could tell
this to my younger self. Or who knows, maybe my older self might have
something wiser to tell me. So, love and live every moment of your life. Don’t
waste your living on overthinking.
