The Jurassic period was the most looked over period after the movie "Jurassic Park". Jurassic was hot and moist which lead to it being lush, green lands. There were ferns, conifers, cycads, club mosses and horsetails for the dinosaurs to live off of especially the long necked ones. Sauropods are longed neck dinosaurs. Their long necks balance off their long tails. Stegosaurus are plant eaters with a very small head but with a big body. Its tail is heavy and spiked for protection just in case something bigger than him fought him for food. Pterosaurs (winged lizard) had a bat like figure but large then a bat. It had a long beak and its hands are bigger than its feet. There were many other dinosaurs that lived on land but there were also marine dinosaurs. Ichthyosaurus was one of the marine animals. It was a fish-shaped reptile and it was then most common out of the others. It looked like a dolphin but with a longer mouth and a shark like tail. The Jurassic period was the most common for the dinosaurs and how they looked even though it ended 146 million of years ago.
