history, Vatican officially acknowledged that the Earth is not a fixed body but it
really revolves around the Sun only in 1992. And monument to Italian physicist
and astronomer Galileo Galilei (1564-1642), who was forced to abandon the
heliocentric system hypothesis by Catholic Church, is installed just now in one of
Vatican gardens.
Objective justification for religious holidays celebration on certain days of
scientifically established "sidereal year" may be the fact that humanity was not
aware that not the Earth but the Sun is the center of our system when these
traditions were established. Decision taken on that will prove that Islam is not a
dogma but developing doctrine, considering all achievements of modern
civilization. While Islamic calendar may continue to count its origin from the
Hijra, that is, to maintain its basic postulate but only celebrating the Prophet's
birthday on that day when the Earth is under the "Mohammad star". Therefore,
sincerely hope for proper understanding of faithful above reflections by all and
right decisions adoption.
