Ever thought of becoming an astronaut. We all had that dream when we were five year olds, but what do we really know about astronauts. most of us think that astronauts are those cool people in white suits that get to visit the moon and have a walk up there then come back to earth as heroes. But what does it really take to become an astronaut.
An astronaut is a person who is trained for space travel. astronauts can also be applied to those who have traveled to space. An astronaut’s training is funded by the government and the most famous agency is NASA. astronauts travel to space for a variety of reasons like space exploration, moon exploration, and some times to set up satellites or robots. Astronauts can have many different positions from commander and pilot to mission specialist educator.
