Oceanography
The oceans have a profound effect on our planet. Their influence stretches far beyond the shore and they are essential to all life on Earth. To help us understand why the oceans' influence is so great, we will learn about the water of the ocean, the air above it, the earth below it, and the life within it. Ultimately, the goal of this course is to help you develop a fundamental understanding of the how the oceans work, why the oceans behave the way that they do, how they are connected to you, and why they need to be protected.
