Geoscience in all its glory!
We are designing the day around student’s years 10-12 with
interest in geosciences to provide insight into the geoscience
industry, deliver inspiration for potential future study paths/
career development, or to simply develop some greater critical
understanding about the physical earth, its environments and
how we explore it in all its glory.
Interactive Activities
Above and below are some images from pervious conferences
where students were introduced to and interacted with some
geophysical investigative tools.
The day will kick off with some inspirational talks from some
young and innovative geoscience graduates, followed by some
rewarding and fun hands on activities for the students and
displays by some of our exhibitors. Sponsored lunch will be
provided for the students and teachers and show bags provided
by the Geological Survey of NSW.
The schools will need to provide their own means of transport
to the event as this will not be covered by sponsors however
everything else is free.
