Martian Update

Martian meteorite Allan Hills 84001 has showed even more evidence of water on Mars. What is even more exciting, though, is that small carbon rich areas of the meteorite may have been created biologically. The meteorite is believed to have been

launched off of Mars during a meteor strike. It then made its way to Earth and fell down into Antarctica.

Amazon Found to “Eat” CO2

NASA has recently discovered that living sections of the Amazon Rain Forest consume more CO2 than they emit. Usually trees take in CO2 and, when dead, put it back into the soil. This reduction of carbon dioxide helps slow global warming, and shows even more that we need to protect the Amazon.
