Your immediate family will bask in the Northern California sunshine for 8 nights in high tech Silicon Valley and family friendly Sonoma County.
Start your adventure with a two night stay at the luxurious Four Seasons Silicon Valley in Palo Alto, home to Stanford University, and the economic focal point of Silicon Valley. Amazingly, SAA has made arrangements for you to meet two long time Googlers for a private tour, not available to the general public, of their headquarters“ Googleplex” featuring Stan the T. Rex, a replica of Spaceship One, and other curiosities followed by lunch at a Google Cafe. Also consider a self-guided visit to Google’ s Visitor Center and the Android Sculpture Garden.
Typically closed to the public, you will be the guest of the Director of Finance at Apple Headquarters. With Apple on track to be America’ s first trillion dollar company, feel free to ask questions that would make Steve Jobs take notice. Afterwards, perhaps a visit to The Company Store is in order, to purchase Apple branded clothing and accessories, exclusive to the Apple campus. With your remaining time in the area, you may want to drive by the HP Garage, roam the Stanford campus, or visit the Computer History Museum, Intel Museum, or NASA’ s Ames Research Center to complete your high tech tour.
On Day Three, head north to beautiful Santa Rosa in the heart of Sonoma, where you will relax for 7 days / 6 nights in a private, four bedroom home with stunning hilltop views, just minutes from the historic center of downtown. Spend your days hiking, biking, or swimming at Annadel State Park, a short walk away.
