Some of the recent scientific findings , discoveries and inventions are concerned . We should all be the most afraid of GMOs - genetically modified organisms , and therefore genetically modified foods . With the discovery of the molecule of DNA and the rapid development of biotechnology , some scientists began to contradict nature . Here ' s why : with the recombination of genetic material , they create new modified species . This work gives me fear and doubt about the future of mankind . Genetically modified food today is one of the biggest challenges for the public . Scientists and proponents of it claim that with its creation and production it will eliminate hunger as a planetary problem . Awesome ! But those who are against GMOs react that it violates the natural growth and development of the animal and plant species and there are unprecedented consequences for human health . Both extremes can not be reconciled and compromise is almost impossible . Where does the World go ?
We definitely live in a world with GMOs . How would it look like without GMOs ? Here is my play . The Earth would not be covered by the socalled . " Roundup ", the royal butterfly would fly happily , all the insects would exist , sheep and cows which have normal size and slaughter would be free to graze in the pastures ... Farmers would reap corn crops that have great nutritional value and are healthy for man , fields would be filled with watermelons in the form of a ball , not a cube , in the yards we could get juicy , red strawberries , not blue . And the man ? Well , he would be resistant to antibiotics and he won ’ t the 7be allergic to everything . Cancer and heart diseases would not be rising . The gene of genetically modified food would not be transferred to beneficial bacteria in the human digestive system .
In a world without GMOs , biotechnology will be in favour of humanity , not a puppet of the industry . And another thing , most important of all - we will not be concerned about the health of future generations .
Science and technology offer a great deal to us , and it would be difficult to imagine any life , which would not be connected to science and technology in any way . We depend on many things to go about our daily lives , and if it weren ' t for
