ROBOTS
Science and technology have appeared for so long . People have all the time discovered or devised something . Have you ever thought how fast science and technology grow up ? Very quickly . People have invented many different useful and also useless things . What about robots ?
In my opinion the most interesting thing that people invented are robots . The robot is a machine resembling a human being and able to replicate certain human movements and functions automatically .
The first digitally operated and programmable robot was invented by George Devol in 1954 . He called robot the Unimate . George born in 1912 and died in 2011 . He was an American . The machine undertook the job of transporting die castings from an assembly line and welding these parts on auto bodies , a dangerous task for workers , who might be poisoned by toxic fumes
or lose a limb if they were not careful .
One of the most popular and modest robot is Sophia . Sophia was developed by Hong Kong based company Hanson Robotics . Robot was activated on February 14 , 2016 . She became the first robot to receive citizenship and she also made a lots of public appearance . She became a citizen of Saudi Arabia .
Some people or countries don ’ t imagine a world without this machines . In some places they are really useful and helpful in daily life .
