Science and technology today Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) technology that brings mystery to our minds and gives us goosebumps when we think about it turned out to be quiet useful . What started as a writer ’ s imagination about computers , ended up saving people lives .
AIcame a long way since its beginnings . It advanced from solving simulated problems like chess , developed further to speech recognition and ended up diagnosing diseases . Currently AI is separated into multiple fields and has made significant progress in each one of them .
Scientists are developing computer vision and are evaluating the different aspects of it . They have developed AI to be efficient in doing several exciting tasks , like recognizing and describing images , and answering questions related to the particular image . It extracts all of this information by reading from raw data about the pixels , furthermore searching for specific patterns , groups those patterns in larger objects , until it is able to recognize the final object . This may seem like a useless thing , but using computer vision has made counting white blood cells a lot easier and cheaper because it does not demand human labor . Also computer vision is being developed to recognize diseases in MR scans . The process is difficult to automate , because of the amount of diseases occurring and because of the complexity of our bodies .

Natural language processing is another field where AI is being developed . It is currently able to create text summarizations from larger text , it is also able to summarize whether a sentence has a positive or negative meaning . It is impressive that computers understand a natural language which is a very complex thing .
