Nowadays scientists and technologists use knowledge and information to create more useful and up to date inventions, which could help people in many issues. What do you think magnetic resonance imaging is? Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical technique to investigate the body in both health and diseases and it “ was first used for imagining in the1970s”(Dimmock). Moreover, MRI uses magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to make pictures of organs and structures inside the body. It is also used to find diseases and infections. MRI is a new technique that has developed after the X-Ray.
MRI is used to explore the problems, which could be bleeding, injury or blood vessel diseases. MRI is an advantageous invention because it shows detailed picture of the patient’s body so that the problem could be easily recognized. MRI for instance could show problems in the arteries and veins such as a blocked blood vessel or the torn lining of blood vessel. By science, there was an ability to fabricate a detector that detects the details of the body. Therefore, they used magnetic field as a way to identify the problem. Scientists used the fact that the body of the human has water, which is H2O so that hydrogen atoms are built in a certain way that they could react dependably to the forces they will be subjected to inside this scanner. Science has a huge impact on creating such an invention as MRI.
Furthermore, the patient doesn’t feel with magnetic field which forces his molecules or the electricity coming out from the device. Scientists are able to make a great device that has no side effects or could make problems to the patient. Consequently, their knowledge and skills could make a better and more advanced invention.
