The sequencer
Yesterday, I went to the biology department to see some of the new equipment that they have got. I have met Mrs Laila Ziko and she told me about the new sequencer that they have got in the lab. She introduced Mr Mostafa Adel who is bioinformatics Analyst, I asked him to show me the new and old sequencer and how does it work. He was very helpful; he took me to the lab, which has the sequencers. I asked him about making an interview if he would agree. He then agreed and I started the interview. He first described what is a sequencer. Next, he showed me the old sequencer and its function. Then, he told me how by technology they reached the new sequencer. Also, he described the difference between the old and new sequencer. Moreover, he also showed me the new sequencer and how does it work to proceed in analyzing DNA. Dr Mostafa, also showed me the difference between sizes of both sequencers. Furthermore, he discussed how technology has made the new sequencer functions better with this small size.
