So... HOW?

1.Before the government can make drugs legal in a country the people in this country have to be well-informed about drugs and their side effects and what they can cause, therefore awareness campaigns should be made. Advertisements on local television, handing out free brochures in shops, fundraising events raising awareness about the subject at hand.

2.Another main factor than immensely help this procedure is controlling the amount of drugs a consumer can buy. This would be very expensive for the government but it can hugely effect the country. A way of controlling this is each individual person having a single computer “drug card” that is used when buying a drug. Only a certain amount can be given monthly. These cards should be highly protected against hacking or copying because if either was done to it that would allow the consumer to have an unlimited amount of drugs which can cause very hazardous results for the person and the people in the environment around him. So, the process goes like this:

a)The buyer goes and buys a certain amount of drug.

b)The seller records on the buyer’s card the amount that is bought.

c)If the buyer tries to go and buy from another store, the store doesn’t give any more than what the buyer is allowed to have that month.

3.Finally, before legalising any types of drugs the country doing this process should have rehabilitation centres ready for consumers of drugs. Therefore, people have a place to go to if they find themselves addicted to a certain type of drug and want to rid themselves of the habit.
