MOTH combines elements of documentary, live
music film, experimental cinema, and educational
science film, and functions as both film and experiment, pairing artists with scientists, and commissioning new musical works. Coproduced by Elisa de
Prato (director), James Fideler (director of Photography) and Greg Vander Veer, the flim includes notable
interviewees Alvin Lucier, Daniel Dennett, Aaron
Einbond, Robert Rowe, Mark Ballora, and various
musicians with more to come. The project began
about three and half years ago and is currently still
in progress, set to be finished the spring of 2014.
