Elizabeth Jameson creates paintings based on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) images
of the brain, revealing its hidden structure and beauty. Describing her work as “intimate
portraits,” through her work Jameson has discovered not only the artist within herself but
also the ways that the science of the brain can be shared with the general public. Jameson’s
work has been exhibited internatio nally with an upcoming show at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
