Career Architecture
Your student is going to college to get a job after graduation, and we get that. That’ s why we stand by our Career Architecture SM model.
Career Architecture helps prepare students for the workforce from day one. Whether your student is still deciding upon a major or knows what she / he wants to study, we offer a distinctive approach to exploring new paths, changing destinations, and mapping their vision for the future. With the support of our career experts and committed faculty, the process helps students develop a personalized strategic plan based on students’ motivated strengths, interests, values, and individual goals.
Through the Career Architecture process, students align their personal values and strengths with professional interests and ambitions while learning inside and outside of the classroom. Students at Stevenson will participate in and acquire experience in Personal Direction, Discipline Expertise, and Professional Know-How.
There are a number of career preparation resources offered to students through Career Services: career advising, career fairs( major-, industry-, and veteran-specific events), on-campus interviews, networking events, graduate school workshops, the LEGO Challenge, service learning, internships— you get the point. It’ s impossible to earn an education at Stevenson without being prepared for your life after college.
