Student Reten on Rates Of the 54 Year Nine students studying at Thornlie Chris an College in 2009, 25 (46%) completed Year 12 in 2012. All 25 students completed Year 12 in 2012 NAPLAN Results The Year 3, 5, 7 and 9 cohort of students were tested under the Benchmark System of Tes ng, (Na onal Assessment Programme for Literacy and Numeracy). These are a new set of results and cannot be compared with the old WALNA assessments. Individual students are plo ed against the Na onal Benchmark and the percentage of students achieving be er than the benchmark are listed. The NAPLAN tes ng is used by the majority of Schools in Western Australia.
