The Law of the gods
CHAPTER THREE
The very law of this nature is lived out in us as we walk in what we
are, as we walk according to where we are (heavenly places), and as we
walk in Him.
Galatians 5:22-2 3
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The divine nature of Christ within us does not have to strive or struggle
to walk in the character of the Father. When the law of His Spirit
is at work in us, we become the express images of love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.
The Sons of God are fully capable of walking in the fullness of our
Father without controversy.
Before we continue any further, I want to point out a most important
point here. Note the last phrase in verse 23; “against such, there is no
law.” This is the real glory of the ministration of the Spirit of God in
this dispensation. It is a manifestation of the Law of the Old Covenant,
being lived out in the flesh. This was impossible for the Children of
Israel. They could not fulfill the Law of Moses in their flesh. To walk
in the Spirit is to be meek, temperate, longsuffering, good, faithful and
gentle. This is the character of love; which is the summation of the Law
of Moses. Therefore, to walk in the law of the Spirit of Life is not to
break or change the law of the Old Covenant but to fulfill it.
I also want to point out that the operation of the Law of the Spirit of
Life in human flesh is more powerful than any other law. Quite frankly,
it destroys the Law of Sin and Death that was at work in our members.
We are free from sin and death. They have no more dominion over us.
Let us rejoice in the liberty of the Spirit of Life.
