Our scientists are passionate in engaging with industry, government, non-governmental organisations and communities to deliver high-impact and sustainable outcomes in our key research areas, which include diseases in the tropics; future and functional food; and tropical biodiversity and sustainability.
We prioritise investments in emerging technologies and cutting-edge core facilities and infrastructure such as the Monash University Malaysia Genomics Platform, Pilot Food Processing Plant, Drosophila Facility, Analytical Chemistry and Confocal Microscopes to provide access to high-quality resources and data. Research infrastructures are critical for science innovation and development of technology to address global challenges.
