James Odegaard ( Ensemble / Bob / Mr . Spencer / Gabe Brown ) James is thrilled to be part of this outstanding cast of rockers . Getting to perform on the TCR stage has been so joyful for him , most recently in the ensemble of Something Rotten , the Cowardly Lion , and Patrick Star . The production team , cast , and crew have all worked so hard to put this together - get ready to rock !
Maverick Reimers ( Mason Ward ) This is Maverick ' s first production with TCR . When not onstage he is involved with Drum Club , and the Good News Club at school . He ' s been having a blast being a part of School of Rock ! He ' d like to thank his family , friends , and brother for their support as he takes on this fun new activity .
Lucia Rosario-Peterman ( Madison ) This is Lucia ’ s first TCR production since moving to Iowa last summer . She ’ s excited to be a part of the local theater scene and to pursue her passion in acting . Lucia is grateful for the support of her family and friends .
August Sands ( James ) " WELCOME TO THE SCHOOL OF ROCK !" August has loved TCR since his first show in 2022 ! His past shows have been Meet me in St . Louis ( Ensemble ), Cabaret , ( Boy Soprano ) and The SpongeBob Musical ( The Boulder ). He takes piano lessons and is in band and choir at Prairie . August would like to thank the entire team for making this possible , his parents and grandparents for their support , his sister for not being jealous , and you for coming to watch him do what he loves . Layla Shadrick ( Sophie ) Layla is thrilled to be making her TCR debut in this rocking show and relishes this extra fun time with her dad . Yes , that ’ s him in the pit with the guitar . She enjoys connecting to her character , Sophie , through their shared admiration of animals and sassy attitudes and their mutual disgust of sweat .
