MONICA STANIEK STUDIED BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE “After 4 years at Keele University studying Biomedical Science I decided to continue my passion for science and undertake a PhD at Lancaster University in parasitology and tropical medicine. The passion and enthusiasm of the lecturers and tutors at Keele not only made me really enjoy my degree and the 4 years I spent there, but also had a massive influence on my decision to continue in further education as well as enhancing my interest in continuing a career in science and academia. The diverse range of different topics that I studied at Keele over the 4 years of my degree showed me that there is a wide variety of different scientific areas and allowed me to focus on a particular topic that I found interesting which now the sole focus of my PhD.” KEY INFORMATION UCAS Code - C900 Foundation Year Yes Indicative entry requirements Single Honours A level: ABB BTEC: DDM For further information on entry requirements please visit keele.ac.uk/entryrequirements Course duration 3 years or 4 years with an international or placement year Placement Year Yes Study abroad Yes International Year Yes Learn a Language Yes
