STUDENT CLUBS

Student-led clubs and societies give you the chance to get more out of your uni experience .

In a student team you ’ ll get hands on with authentic , real-world projects and challenges . Work together in diverse , multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative products or drive change to make the world a better place .
Our student-run clubs and societies provide opportunities to connect with like-minded people , learn new skills and engage with industry to broaden your networks . Some of the groups available are :
• Engineers Australia Monash Sunway Student Section ( EAMSSS )
• Institute of Engineers Monash Sunway Student Section ( IEMSSS )
• Institute of Chemical Engineers ( IChemE )
• Institute of Mechanical Engineers ( IMechE )
• Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering ( IEEE )
• Engineers without Borders ( EWB )
• Monash Women Engineers ( MWE ).
A team of more than 30 Monash engineering students won a gold medal in the SAE Auto Challenge 2020 – Student Formula ’ s Cost Event category , an annual international student design competition organised by the Society of Automotive Engineers in Thailand .

STUDY ABROAD

Go on an overseas exchange with one of our 140 partner universities around the world , or spend a semester or two at one of our four campuses in Melbourne . You ’ ll remain enrolled at your home campus and receive credit for your overseas study towards your Monash degree – all while continuing to pay your regular course fees .
A full-time transfer to Monash Australia to complete the remainder of your studies is also possible , furthering your globally enriching and rewarding educational experience .
