BSc Medicinal Chemistry Combined Honours
The Combined Honours courses are an exciting way to study operating within the traditional Keele
Combined Honours framework. A wide range of subject combinations are available and the Combined
Honours route allows you broader career options at the end of your degree.
Many exciting areas of research science
happens at the interface of disciplines –
biosynthesis, chemical biology, drug metabolism,
and biocomposites all need a broad knowledge
across scientifi c disciplines so a Combined
Honours degree can have real advantages if
your goal is to work in a cross disciplinary area.
You will study two subjects in Years 1 and 2 and
have the option to study two subjects equally
throughout the three years of your Combined
Honours degree. You are also allowed to
specialise in medicinal chemistry or your other
subject in Year 3 of the three-year course. If you
specialise in medicinal chemistry you have the
option to pick an elective module in Year 3 from
your combination subject.
