SOCIETAL IMPACT

The School of Business is committed to advancing SOCIAL PROGRESS AND RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES , guided by principles of social responsibility , transparency , equality , and ethics . Our educational programs , research initiatives , and partnerships are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs ), advocating for quality education , job creation , economic growth and innovation .
In line with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business ( AACSB )’ s vision , we aim to address society ’ s most pressing economic , social , human , and environmental challenges through our specialised expertise in curriculum , scholarship , and engagement activities .
Recognising the transformative role of business schools , the Principles for Responsible Management Education ( PRME ) underscore the importance of shaping future leaders who serve society and protect our planet . And by adhering to the seven PRME principles , we promote responsible management practices , document our efforts , and share valuable insights and lessons learned .

We transform our learning environments by integrating responsible management concepts and practices into our curriculum and pedagogy .
Our Progress :
● Established a cross-faculty taught Sustainability & Responsible Management minor to the bachelor ’ s degree ( pg . 13-14 )
• Incorporated RME elements through authentic assessments , in the form of case studies , simulations , guest speakers and community partners ( pg 15-16 )
• Designed a social-impact focused curriculum , units that introduce and engage learners in concepts and practices of RME and the UN SDGs ( pg . 17 ) p 10
