A Closer Look By Emily West, ’13 T he trip to the KCACTF Festival has become an annual feature of the theater program at SBU. For both theater students and faculty, the festival offers a wealth of information, collaboration and artistic communion. In January 2013, eight St. Bonaventure theater students travelled with Dr. Ed. Simone and Becky Misenheimer to the KCACTF (Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival) Region 2 Festival in Towson, Md. “You get to see work from other students elsewhere. You get to see what ideas other people have and what’s important to them.
