Cambridge Young Learners English Tests are aimed at children
between 7-12 years who learn English as a foreign language in elementary or language schools. The exams are designed to be fair to all test takers, whatever their age, gender, nationality, first language or ethnic background.
Cambridge English Young Learners exams tests four language skills –‘ reading, writing, listening and speaking’. All the exams are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages( CEFR) – the international standard for describing language ability.
There are three young learners English tests; Starters, Movers and Flyers. Starters can help the students take their first step towards understanding basic English content, enjoying book, television and films in Egnlish and make friends globally.
Movers is the second of three Cambridge English: Young Learners( YLE) tests for children. The tests are written around familiar topics and focus on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing. Movers can help you to understand basic instructions or take part in simple conversations, to understand basic notices, instructions or informations, to complete basic forms and write notes, including times, dates and places.
Flyers is the third of three Cambridge English YLE tests for children. This test introduce children to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English. This exam can help you to understand simple written English, to communicate in familiar situations, to understand and use basic phrases and expressions and to interact with English speakers who talk slowly and clearly.
