Do you ever feel lonely when you are surrounded by people?
Yes. Especially in school. Throughout my first two years of attending OHS, I constantly felt alone, even though plenty of people were around me. I'm often uncomfortable in large groups of people not just because I don't have anyone to talk to, but because everyone else has someone to talk to. Watching groups of people interact makes me realize that, though I'm technically part of the crowd, I don't have the same opportunity as everyone else. Which is basically a long way to say that loneliness doesn't stay at home where you left it. It's a feeling that never goes away, and it's only amplified by seeing that other people appear not to have it.
