This year at NAPT ACTS will feature( 13) Professional Development Series( PDS) courses! As we get closer to the event, we’ re proud to spotlight some new faces in our PDS Instructor lineup. This week, we’ re featuring Brandi Wetzel, CSPT, CSNT, from great state of South Carolina!

We’ ve officially entered September, which means the 2025 NAPT elections and bylaw amendment vote are right around the corner! To help you stay informed and prepared, we’ ve pulled together a quick roundup of the important information we’ ve shared so far.
Dates:
• Election: September 30 & October 1, 2025
• Bylaw vote: October 6-10, 2025
Act: Secure Your Vote in the Election and Bylaw Amendment. To be eligible to vote in the bylaw amendment on October 6 – 10, 2025, your membership must be fully renewed and paid in full by the close of business( 5:00 p. m. EST) on October 3, 2025.

Allow us to officially introduce Brandi, in her new role as a PDS Instructor, and invite you to learn from one of the leading experts in the industry this fall at NAPT ACTS. Brandi is currently the Transportation Secretary at Darlington County Schools and has recently completed her master’ s degree in quality engineering from Southern Illinois University. As a PDS instructor, Brandi brings new energy and fresh perspectives to the table. Inspired by the mentorship and guidance of a fellow
instructor, she has embraced the lessons learned throughout her career in the transportation industry. Having held a variety of roles, Brandi offers a well-rounded understanding of the field. Engaging in conversations with transportation professionals nationwide continues to spark new ideas and insights. Believing that teaching is a two-way street, she not only shares knowledge but also values the opportunity to learn from others. Brandi will be instructing PDS 608: Developing a Safety Program on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 8am to 12pm.
