Welcome to the first edition of Schoogle, a
magazine made by the children of
Hawthorn Primary School, Heol y Celyn
Primary School, Ffynon Taff Primary
School, Coedpenmaen Primary and Parc
Lewis Primary School.
The project is delivered by Full Circle
Education, a local social enterprise
supporting schools to promote youth wellbeing, and funded by Newydd Housing
Association’s HAPI Project. HAPI is a twoyear project funded by the Big Lottery to
create a Healthy, Aspiring, Prosperous and
Inclusive (hapi) community in Rhondda
Cynon Taf.

Schoogle is a cluster-based project that
aims to develop children’s literacy and ICT
skills and promote community engagement.
The magazine has been researched, written
and designed by the children, exploring
themes they are passionate about, from
basketball to bullying.
