Four exceptionally talented students specializing in Furniture and Interior Design have been awarded a share of £ 2,000 from Claremont Office Furniture , a Glasgowbased company who have been committed to supporting students at Fife College since 2018 .
June marked the Built Environment and Design , End of Year Show at Fife College . The End of Year Show showcased the very best of work from the college ’ s 3D Designers , Architectural Technologists , Furniture Makers and Quantity Surveyors students .
Every year Claremont Office Furniture supports the show through Adam Smith Scholarships . The winners of the Claremont Office Furniture award this year were Justyna Stanka , Nicole Allen , Scott Brooksbank and Shannon Cairns this year .
Our donors at Claremont Office Furniture said : “ Very well done to this year ’ s winners ! It is great to see and invest in the up-and-coming designers . Thanks again to all the staff , lecturers and technicians at Fife College and we wish the very best of luck to the graduating students .”
Shannon Cairns from Glenrothes , said : “ I am ecstatic to have won this scholarship . This money will help me massively in repairing my car so I can get to my work placement .”
Scott Brooksbank from Glenrothes , said : “ It ’ s things like this that really inspire confidence in the thought of starting a career creating things . My plan is to buy woodworking machines so I can design and build in my free time and really let my creativity flow . Thank you ”
